Yeah, the stated gains are total bs, but c'mon you gotta admit it kind of has a cool factor to it.

There maybe enough room for the intake tubes, but I see how it would work to incoperate the maf and throttle body. Also call bs on 25-50 on intake mod. I was able to Get about 50 doing LT headers and a tune. Verified by comparing to a truck like mine w/o headers and comparing dyno runs

My buddy had one on his ram hemi and swears by it. they make pretty slick ram air intakes, but of course its $$

Not sure about 25-50 hp , but a forced induction system like these here definitely adds a solid boost to the existing power. as good as you can get with a air intake system

There is no empirical data that shows that they work, and doing the math on the physics, doesn't add up. If a ram air system really worked, there would be less vacuum in the manifold at wide open throttle at high speeds. We haven't seen any difference in manifold vacuum with a vararam over any other intake.

I agree, though. The speed at which a ram air intake may be beneficial on our trucks is a speed at which our trucks should never travel.

I know that there's no real proof but it's less restriction. not adding power but releasing the existing power. like adding a better transmission or rear end would do. efficiency. or like a high flow exhaust.
But either way personally I have my tbss intake manifold that will make a difference combined with a mit and better filter and a minor ram air set up.
