air ride system

Question people. Does the Denali release air like 18 wheelers airbrake system? Reason is I was creeping slow this morning with my windows down and I heard for the first time ever that quick burst / spray of released air, and there were no other vehicles around me. I am not even sure it came from my truck, it just seemed obvious since I was at an intersection alone, in a residential neighbourhood.
