Air Shields / Bug Deflector

I know everyone hates them, but personally I like them alot. I'd like to get a bug shield and air deflectors over the windows.

I know in channel for the windows is better than tape on, but what else should I look for in order to get the best, high end pieces for this?

What did you use for bug deflectors? pics?

Weather Tech used to be my go to place for in channel wind deflectors….until they ddint have the side window deflectors. I went with the GM OEM ones, not my first choice but they seem to work. I did get the Weather Tech hood deflector. I installed the deflector over the ClearBra and works for the front.

I used weathertech for the bug shield and front and rear mud guards. I’ve been really happy with all of it so far. The bug shield feels really secure and is pretty low profile, which is nice. Install was pretty easy. A second set of hands helped for the bug shield.

Sure thing, just be sure to select the mud guard option that fits your running boards. Stationary or retractable. Mine are stationary.

About the only thing W/T doesn’t make for the current generation Tahoe and other 2022 models apparently…is the In Channel Vent Visors.. They technically don’t make a moonroof wind deflector but they make a universal 3M take universal mount deflector,,,,all you need is the moonroof width.

I strongly recommend rubber stoppers for the hood deflector, Sticl between the deflector and hood to help keep the deflector from slapping against the hood,,,,especially corners where the shape is closer against the hood.

And to answer everyone’s question…I have ClearBra on the leading edge of the hood AND the stoppers between the deflector and ClearBra….You could say triple protection……The next layer would be ClearBra on the deflector…. Yes I thought of it.
