I've read on here alot of people are using viper alarms, remote starts.
I also have been reading alot of issues with them. My question is has
anyone had any experience with Autopage? Preferably the C3-RS730.

I'd question more of the issue on install versus equipment. DEI/aka Viper has been making alarms for years, and IMHO some of the best ones out.

I second that ive only had DEI alarms on my past two cars and the only time i ever had issues with them it was found to be installed incorrectly and fixed on the spot for free. make sure you take it to a good shop to have it hooked up or if you know how to do it yourself that would be even better so you know its done right.

The for the replys. Im pretty good with electronics and installing them but have never installed an alarm. We have a few audio shops around here. one being best buy, that is where I was looking at the viper alarms at.

I personally wouldn't have Best Buy do it. I've seen some shady installs by them. I'd ask around and find a good local shop to do it.

I've used Autopage for years and also DEI products and right now I'm running an Autopage C3 RS-915LCD and loving it. I agree, if it's installed poorly it will not perform properly. DEI makes great products all across the board..

I just installed my RS730 last week and paired it with Omega GMDLBP. I am so impressed and happy with the range of the remote. Easy to install. You just have to know where to get the wires. I downloaded a wiring guide from 12volts.

If you can, install it yourself. My wires are all hidden and so with the modules. Usually, installers will put everything under the dash. Easy for theives to see. If you DIY, you can put it anywhere you want.

Viper 5901

I just want to know what you need exactly when your installing a viper 5901 w/ remote start, im kind of new with alarms. I know 5901 seems to be pretty common now. I heard you need some special module or mobilizer, or something. I know alarms aren't really hard to install, but i just wanted to look up maybe what i need to make it happen. Thanks
