is there a write up on this? i need to change mine...

Yes, it should be in the how to section. search cabin filter. I know there is because I learned about this from that one post and how to change it as well. If it's not in the how to section then search in this section for it.

where did you get the filters from? I pulled mine tonight...yup time for some new ones lol

just crawl under the pass footwell...3 7mm bolts..the one by the center console youll need a deep well...then you will see a rectangle looking hatch under there. it is a 6mm bolt on the back of it and there are your filters

Ya, anybody who hasn't changed there cabin filter needs to. I need to do mine again now that I'm thinking about it. But I changed mine last year, and it was horrible. Most people either don't know they have a cabin filter, or forget about changing it. But with all the dust and contaminates in the air, these filters really help, and getting the Charcoal one is the best option. tried both and was amazed at how much fresher the charcoal one made it. But even a standard one is good, better then what is probably in everybodies ride right now

Holy christmas...thats horrible LOL!

My wife's honda actually had the blower motor stuck because her filters were clogged and it was full of leaves. LEAVES!

one walmart I went to had them for like $19 (they were the Arm & Hammer ones)

I didn't get them
and I've gone to the two walmarts near me (one a super walmart)
and neither had cabin filters at all.

I ordered my charcoal filters online cause nobody had them locally. just do a search and you will find them all over the web. can't remember were I bought mine from.

lol mine is an 01 as well and mine were stock.... could barely make out the numbers on the side of the filter but they were stock.... have fun lol

there were numbers??? WOW...mine were really bad then. replaced them today and noticed my ac blowing a lil colder.. would that have anything to do with the filters ???
