All of a sudden I hit Issue City

yeah I’ll definitely get on that one,
I have another issue but with oil.
I’m leaking oil but not bad or anything I just get the smell when I’m stopped and it’s not smoking or anything. Pretty much I have a bad seal somewhere. What are the common spots on these 5.3s?

Common oil leak spots can be the valve covers, especially at the back side, the rear of the intake manifold and in my case it was the seal at the oil cooler lines next to the oil filter. I don't have an oil cooler but there is a block off plate that had some seepage. My 160k mile 02 Tahoe has absolutely no other leaks of any kind. I feel pretty good about that.

rear main, oil pan, if you have a external oil cooler then the lines will seep or the adapter plate will leak.
