Hello, just picked up a 2009 Yukon Denali 2WD. Its in pretty "OK" condition, needs a handful of what I think are minor issues and I want to try and put the autoride suspension back to its original glory.

Im happy to be back in the LS game, been a few years since my last one in a 2011 Caprice. Looking forward to figuring out all this vehicles problems!

Welcome Mark! You've got a special Denali there, it has the AFM free L9H motor and being RWD, it has the 9.5" 14-bolt rear axle.

It may also have the heated washer fluid option which was recalled and de-activated by GM (But you can get it working again), Rainsense wiper system was the last year for that option too.

It was also the first year for the cooled seats and side blind zone alert and integrated trailer brake controller. Not all Denalis have these options.

Welcome. rockauto carries the arnott replacement air shocks for a reasonable price plus you get a core return when you send the old ones back in.

Thanks! I dont think I was lucky enough to get the cooled seats, which would be nice here, the black leather gets hot.

Yeah rockauto has always been a goto but their shipping is pretty unreasonable to Hawaii. I'll figure out a way, there is just some cheap stuff on their right now that does not ride well.

For us, the cure for a hot interior is to use the remote start for at least 5 minutes before getting underway. The windows are tinted dark and recently started using a windshield sunshade which helps even more.

Welcome from Miami Beach Mark! Don't forget to check out the 2007-2014 section.

The Caprice you had is still popular with the Leos in Broward County.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here's the list I'm chipping away at on this new to me Yukon.

-CEL light -> P0172, P0175, P0420, P0442
All those and it is definitely low on power, thinking maybe bad cats?
-SRS light -> Front impact sensor, passenger seat sensor
-ABS light -> Passenger rear
-Restore the Z55 suspension, I just found the passenger side plug which was sitting on the exhaust manifold and melted to shit.
-Also need to put a bandaid on the horribly cracked dash.

After that she'll be a real beauty!
