AlphaTherm at37-gm replacement question

Ok so I just put in the replacement and followed the YouTube DIY and I have a question for the people that have done this replacement. When I press the button while the windshield wipers are on, is the light supposed to blink or is it supposed to be a solid constant orange light? Mine blinks so hopefully this is correct.

Blinking indicates fluid is heating up .... normal operation
