Its attached to the alternator. If you look at it you can see it. I believe there is a plug on it also that is connected to the computers to tell it what to do.
thanks for the heads up. ran the alt for 4 years without a failing issue....so far, but now it's sat for 8 months in the attic collecting dust. i'm getting the itch to install the system into the yd...just have to find/build a box for my 3 treo tsx 10's or decide to get another one and go 4.....and if this alt won't work then i'll be selling it and finding one that is compatible.whatever yal do, do not expect a smaller pulley on aftermarket high output alternator help out for long, everyone i know with a smaller pulley on a high output alternator had problems with the alternator going out alot faster than just having a regular pulley on there

so just an FYI what is that alternator compatible with.
I'll scoop it from you if you're not gonna use it, trying to make the nastiest charging system on my truck so the voltage doesn't drop when my efans both kick on.
