I need to replace the alternator in my 06 Denali. I may beef up the audio system a little in the future but nothing serious.

What size, brand do you recommend? Please post links if you can.

Thanks!

If you do the audio beef up make sure to try and add an additional battery and use lower number/bigger around/less resistance gauge wire and check the alternator case for the amp output and find a bigger output with same case that fits. Some shops can rebuild your alt for more output.

I'm a big fan of Bosch. If they have one that is high output, it would probably serve you well. I replaced the alternator in my '89 Jimmy three or four years ago and the Bosch is still going strong.

If you're not planning on doing big audio or accessories and stuff.. dont spend $600 on an alternator.
