i had a 2/3 lowering kit on my truck (shocks included) . i'm installing 5 inch drop coils and i ordered a pair of mcgaugys 2050 shocks because i was told they were for a 5 inch drop. but when i put them on the springs were too small or the shocks are too long. i bought the 2050s so i wouldn't have to get shock extenders am i going to get them anyway, the 2050's are the same size shock that came with my ground force 2/3 kit.
also does anyone know what would cause my truck to sit 3/4 inch higher on passenger side. it was like this stock and still the same after lowering

Not trying to be rude man but nobody is going to answer a question that is asked and answered on here atleast once every 2 days.
Its just about a "Tahoe Forum two-a-day question".

those shocks are shorter specifically for lowering. so no extenders.

adjust your torsion bars to level it out from side to side. but your alignment will be off after doing so.

what i'm saying isthat i tried to install the drop shocks i was told to get but there is about a 1 1/2 inch gap at the top of the spring with the shocks bolted in

did u remove the bumpstops? or do the axle relocator? i have a 3/5 mcgaughys drop with the 2050's in the rear, removed bumpstops, and no problems like what u r describing.

i did the free travel mod but no axle relocator just springs, helper bags, and shocks.

somethings not right. maybe they sent the wrong shocks or they are labeled wrong...are the shocks compressed all the way?

Mine has a gap above the coil spring when the suspension is at full droop. My shocks are a bit too long but they work well with my extensions. I'd compress one side all the way and see if the shock bottoms out first or if the axle hits the frame/bumpstop. Sounds like you'll be ok.
