Am I too young to be driving a Tahoe?

I love my 2016 Tahoe LTZ so much and I do not care what other people think but, I get the weirdest reactions when I tell people what I drive considering that I'm 18.

I get "mom car" all the time.

I genuinely love the Tahoe and it is really nice to have when me and my friends go out.

Are there any other younger Tahoe drivers out there?

I went through the same thoughts not quite 2 years ago when I bought my rig. I drive a 2006 Denali xl. I'm only 24, im single, and I have no kids. But this is pretty much my dream car and I love the fact that I can roll around in my dream car when most of my friends and people my age can barely get a handle on driving at all! I get told that i have a mom car all the time! My 31 year old sister who's married and has 3 kids drives a minivan and tells me all the time how jealous she is of my ride! Haha. If you like your ride that's all the matters! And big kudos to you for being only 18 and being able to have a car as badass and high caliber as a 2016 ltz tahoe! That's awesome! I'm not there yet lol. And hey being able to entertain friends is the best part! I went to vegas last month for a 3 day country music festival and 3 of my close friends went with me. They all wanted to make the 4 hour road trip in my Denali because it's so comfortable and has room for everything! Bottom line is if you're happy with your ride that's all that matters!

If you bought your own LTZ at 18 then your friends can STFU. They are just jealous. If your mom bought your car then maybe they are just being literal?

Agree with them. Tell them it is a mom vehicle. Tell them you turned their girlfriend into a mom in it last night. Lmao.

On a serious note though these things have so much room in the back when you fold the second row down. Plus its still heated as opposed to a truck bed. From my experience chicks love it lol.

I got my first tahoe when I was 20 and then got another 4 years later. I don't remember anyone ever telling me it was a moms car, but then again my 04 had a 5/7 drop on 22s, dark tint and many other mods. My 08 had a 2/3 on some 24" dub ballers plus more so I went completely away from the mom deal lmao

I bought my old Yukon when I was single with no kids, called it a soccer mobile myself.

I suspect people see you driving a $60k+ vehicle at your age and assume you did not pay for it, end result is an awkward look from time to time. If you put in the hard work to purchase it, good for you. If you didn't, very generous of whomever put up the cash.....and I can see the perspective of those who give awkward looks.
