Am I too young to be driving a Tahoe?

I'm 20 now but I've had mine since I was 16. Never had anyone make fun of me for driving it but then again mine wasn't stock for very long. Anyone giving you a hard time for driving it is definitely just jealous that you're driving such a nice ass ride. Be proud. If you really want to shut them up, drop it down and throw some wheels on it. Then they'll be beyond jealous lol.

“You can only be jealous of someone who has something you think you ought to have yourself.”

WTF cares what other people think anyways. Drive it like you stole it and laugh all the way down the road. Enjoy your ride and let the haters hate.

Been whipping my yukon since 16. Driving anything else never crossed my mind. If not work, I'd drive one for the rest of my life. Around here no one thinks mom car. Around here, everybody wants an SUV. It's an executive vehicle. Rappers, celebrities, and athletes all drive around in big black tahoes. Status symbol.

The CEO's who come to town in the summer show up in ltz's, denali's and Escalades. In the nice part of town, you'd think they got a deal on a group buy of black gm's.

The Kennedy Compound always has a few tahoes parked inside.

I'm not jealous. I'm just very unhappy that good things are happening for the OP and not happening for me.
Get a job and you could get a tahoe, too

If you enjoy it, drive it and make it yours. Drop it, raise it, murder it, bling it, wrap it, whatever... It's yours. Tell everyone else to pound sand and get their own!

Just enjoy your ride and be thankful for it.

well... I am also 18 and I just bought a stock 04 Z71 4x4. might put a grill guard eventually but I don't manage on "lowering" it or whatever. also don't plan on getting it lifted. stock is cool.

is yours also a 4x4? if not, then I agree, it is a mom car! haha.

maybe things are different where you live than in Texas, but down here everybody I know drives or wishes they drove one. every 6th car I see is a Tahoe/Yukon/Burban.

you're fine.

...unless it's a 2 wheel drive, then it's time to trade that shit in for a 4x4.. even if it's a couple years old. :grd:
