go I really don't want to remove my seats but if I find myself having too then oh well. The amp will be going right under the right rear seat area. The smaller one of the two. This still allows me the option of storing stuff under the left part of the seat like I normally do LOL. Or maybe I would be better off mounting it under the passenger front seat??? Hmmmmmmm.

I had planned on running the RCA cables to the amp right down the center of the truck. Power and remote turn on lead down the right side rocker area. Not sure about the new speaker wire I have to run now. Left front and left rear door are easy. Will run them down the rocker area. But the tricky part is the passenger side speakers since you're supposed to keep the speaker wire seperate from the power cable and the remote turn on wire.

You are correct, that's how you want to wire your power/ground and RCA's. I'd recommend aluminum tape like:
http://cgi.ebay.com/13100-DYNAMAT-Dynatape-Aluminum-Finishing-Tape-NEW-/110545625987?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19bd086383

Use this to tape down your wires. This will allow you to run your speaker cable within a couple inches of your power wire without fear that after installing they will come into contact and ruin your sound quality. I used almost 2 rolls of this product on my install and would highly recommend it. It's held up 100% in AZ heat, even on the roof. You probably don't need that much, I'm sure 1 roll would suffice for you. You could also look at aluminum tape designed for HVAC, but I can't guarantee it's performance for this type of application. I would not recommend electrical or even duct tape for this.

Well that might not happen. I planned my install for tomorrow. Won't have time in the next couple of weeks and this will be the only free weekend for me right now. Can't find it locally from like best buy or anything like that and don't have a couple days to wait to have it mailed. I'll have to figure something else out instead.

Maybe running all the speaker wires back towards the dash, under the dash, and down the center of the truck with the RCA's. I dunno and my head hurts now. LOL

If you take your seats out it will be easy to plan it out. It's just a few bolts on each side, no big deal.

I don't even have rear seats which made it pretty easy. I have front seats from a 2005ish Duramax which takes a bit longer to uninstall and reinstall though. I used the opportunity to deep clean my seats using this:

Not worried bout taking the seats out (thinkin those are external torx bolts)... Just dont want to spend all day doin this. Wanna get it done in time to be ridin dirty at 5pm. LOL

Then the next thing I wanna do is the LED dash lights and possibly replace my stock headlights and parking lights with something a tad nicer. First and formost for the winter months will be shocks, tires, alignment, trans mount, tie rod, and pitman arm. Then once she's all tight again and got some new shoes... I can think about doing the 6x9's, lights, and of course... the BB Tune for summer!

Stock... everything is stock cept for the audio. Sorry the pics suck but they were taken with my phone many moons back. I am going to try and get new ones once this whole amp thing is all done and I had a good chance to wax her before the winter gets here.

Your seats are nice. I wonder if it would be possible for me to use your style of door panels. That would save me a lot of work, but I don't know if the connectors for the power functions are the same. Hmm...

Also, I have using a 94+ GMC grille just like yours, but it doesn't fit quite right, the it doesn't line up to the fender at the bottom. Can you confirm if you have sort of filler piece? Does it go all the way around the bumper, or is it just on the side? I have a black plastic filler piece, but it doesn't come up on the side to fill in the gap between the grille and fender. I wonder if maybe I need a filler piece from a 94+ GMC to make it look right.

Welp... after busting my hazard switch on my column, running the power cable, the rca's, found stripped out rocker panel screws that don't wanna budge, The amp not fitting (width wise) between the two seat brakets under the rear seat (I have a fix for this), and not being able to get my seats out cause some gorilla armed these ******* in, I gave up plus I was so aggrivated that I just broke a $200 T-singal switch and now had to fix that... I knew if I kept going something more bad would have happened. I am going to have a professional install this thing. Ta hell with this mess. LOL. Might just buy the other amp at the same time and have them duke me up on both ends so its all done at once.

Oh well.
