Amp Install

Just purchased a new amp to power my speakers and im wondering how hard the install is to do.

Really new to the whole audio game, so I fell like im better off taking it in.

Not too hard. Run power wire from battery to amp, remote wire from amp to headunit, ground wire from amp to frame, speaker wires, then set gains and crossover if applicable. If you look on YouTube or check crutchfield, you can find videos and diagrams to help. I did it on my first car when I was 16 so its not too hard. You just need the right tools and a little guidance and you should be able to get it done. That's just a basic install for a modest system. If you plan on big power or customization such as amp mount, you might want a shop to do it before you start cutting your truck up.

You'll need signal cables from the HU to the amp also.
