I've been playing around with Andriod and have attached some pics of how it looks. With my LG G4 I need to have it tethered to the USB Port for it to connect. I have full phone function as well as Pandora while the map view is on screen. It took my dealer about 2 hrs A-Z to perform the upgrade. The tech told me that he did a Tahoe yesterday and I was the first Yukon...surprisingly the software is different...may be because the Tahoe was an LTZ and had Factory Navigation ?

Not bad for free !!

This upgrade is only available for any 2016 GM product with an 8" Infotainment screen.

I re-installed my Diablo Tune with no issues...DAMN what a difference !!

Oh...the 32* F temp is what the screen indicated any time a "Tune" modification is made for about the first 30 minutes but stabilizes to ambient once the vehicle is driven a few miles...FYI !!

Does this update change anything else other than adding android auto?

Got the email from GM yesterday and coincidentally have service appointment next Tuesday, so figured I'd have them do it. Will apple CarPlay and android auto both be available after the update ?

had Apple Car Play from the Factory...this update gets Android Auto Only. I love the thing after having it a week...the ONLY downside is that it must be tethered to the phone to operate.

Went in to my dealer today to inquire about the update because I know a phone call would end up getting nowhere. Service guy checked with his techs and GM hasn't sent them the necessary equipment yet. He gave me a print out of the Bulletin though, so I have that going for me. ;)

Got the update installed a couple of weeks ago. I have a Galaxy S5. Anyone have issues with the phone staying connected? I can have it connected but then 10 minutes later I get the message that no capable device is connected. Unplugging the USB and plugging back in solves it for another 10 minutes or so.

Also really hate the fact that AA restricts you to 6 button clicks. Means you can't scroll through playlists in Spotify. I get the safety aspect, but they didn't even allow unrestricted access for a passenger with a disclaimer (like other apps do).

Hopefully Waze support isn't too far off.
