Tony -- I did a rear-only Belltech lowering kit on my LTZ a while ago, but I never swapped out the shocks or did shock extenders.

Would you recommend either, both, or that I just leave it as is? Ride is decent, but I could stand to have some of the tight bounce taken out of it.

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you have a part number for the shorter shocks you're talking about? Also, any problems changing them but NOT the front ones? Finally, what improvement to the ride should I get?

Thanks!

First off, I've been lurking and learning much on this forum, since picking up an '08 Yukon Denali.

Tony, thanks for your help on getting the 4/2 drop on the Denali! Got it all completed today, and it drives, and looks fantastic!

(Dylan VonKleist helped us organize it. Adam's Polishes.) Will take photos and post them when we get the truck back from the alignment shop tomorrow.

Just mounted the new 22" Black Rhino Sabi rims and 305-40-22 Cooper Zuni tires. Looks amazing, but I'm having a problem with rubbing in the front. (We cut out a bunch of plastic from the rear, which didn't help the looks.)

Is there a plastic insert that indents enough to provide clearance for these tires? Have also read about having the wheel wells sprayed with Line-X. Here in Boulder, CO, we get some weather, and would it be good to have Magnesium Chloride, snow, and muck inside the wheel wells, especially with the electronics, auto-ride hoses, etc?

This truck is a Christmas gift for my wife, and I'd love to have it sorted ASAP, and get it under the tree by Friday night!

Thanks in advance for any guidance.:help:
