Yes, as previously mentioned. I did not have access to a hose, but what I did was bought a gallon of water and a water bottle with the squeezy mouth top piece and just kept squirting it in there all throughout the evap. Coil. I did so until the water coming out was clear . Id say it had a little more pressure then a garden hose, yet not enough to damage it.

I was going to use some coil cleaner from home depot. I didn't see anything worthwhile on the advance/autozone websites (only nearby stores).

Okay got the truck back. The shop had it hooked up on the vacuum machine for 3 hours trying to clean out the system of any clogs. They also replaced the a/c relay. The tech noticed that after running for a while the relay would get real hot and click off.. thus cutting off the compressor. They replaced the relay and ran it for 2 hours (the tech was my buddy... so in good friendship he burned my gas lol) and the relay didnt get hot. Hopefully this is the final fix.

unknown at this time.
must be a breakdown in the relay coil. glad to hear but i cant let this part go: the vacuum is not used to clear up clogs it is used to remove moisture in the system.

Well here is my reading, temp outside was about 90 degrees. Both high and low sides showed lower pressure than normal.

Compressor clutch was kicking on and off, so my buddy wired the clutch to say on. The line going into the evaporator froze up.

Can't really see the numbers so I have a second pic that shows gauge face better

We figured there is a leak somewhere, so I'm going to stop by an A/C shop this week and get new shrader valves put in and see if that makes a difference.
