Lolz in here.
Get a specter intake, coat it with VHT then wrap it with ebay header wrap.
Coat the steel box with VHT and insulate ot with hush mat high temp door kit.
Use stick on round rubber door seal to seal it to the hood.


Highest flow, coldest IAT, and CHEAPEST!

**** all these tests in a controlled environment that can be manipulated.
Use a data logget to log tour MAF grams per sec and Intake air temps.

High maf gps and low iat wins everytime.

Wouldnt ut be easier to skip wrapping the metal pipe and get the airraid jr MIT . Makes mo re sense I would think

Honsetly... I would do what doug says lol...

More info in this rubber cap please? I might swap over to that setup, the only reason I haven't is cause the filter is open to the engine bay with a wannabe heat shield...

You might do better to post this in the section that includes 2017 vehicles. This section is for 2000-2006. As I have no vehicles newer than 2005, I'm not familiar with exactly where you should post. Good luck, in any case
