OK, so the hoe in the past has been a bit lacking in the stopping department. I have upgraded to the brake booster and yes great improvement.

Well now the vane side of me wants the show look. So, I have done research and yes you can get big break kit for the front from SSBC for 1600$. So made me look at options.

I have run Wildwood brakes on some of other projects in the past. So, I have researced parts. This is what I have found that I can make my own kit.

120-10123 calipers 6 piston (I want the red ones) $277 per

160-8165 14" rotors $185 per

170-10753 hats $175 per

Thats less than $1300 for the parts plus shipping.

I will have to make a custom adapter to mount the caliper to the spindle. Does anyone see any issues I have missed on the parts list. I will upgrade to the stainless steel lines while doing the swap.

Getting my quarterly bonus and figure spend it on the what I use the most!

I don't foresee any real issues other than fitting the caliper and making sure that everything lines up properly.

Let me know if you would like me to try and get a better quote on the pricing of those parts for you.

Is there something available for a Tahoe with 15" wheels?

You'll have to run factory size rotors and calipers with 15" wheels... You have many aftermarket vendor/product options.

Big brake kits (packaged or pieced together) typically require a minimum 17 or 20+ size wheel depending on the setup selected.
