Wings - very nice truck. Do you happen to know what your ground-to-fenderlip measurements are? I'd like to be able to compare to my 07 Burb with same kit.

Probably just going to hold off on the side mouldings and I'm not doing the esky roof rack. I may do the G5 tails and rear appliques but that will most likely be it... possibly the updated rear bumper cover with factory closeout if I ever get around to it.

Okay... need some help here...

Looks like my rear isn't airing up at all. I can her the compressor click like it's going to pump but nothing happens. Reason I now know this is I just hauled some stuff and the rear was practically sitting on the axle. Everything was extremely straight-forward with the rear install so I'm wondering if the compressor had gone bad before installing the kit and I'm just now noticing it. What fuses, etc do I need to check??? And yes, the auto-level links are fine by the way.

Wouldn't the compressor itself still run? I can hear the click but that's it... no pump.

Not trying to jack my own thread however...
since my compressor took a crap I'm left with with a couple options for replacement:

1. Arnott
2. OEM GM

Here is the Arnott compressor for 185.27. Looks like it just comes with a rebuild kit for the separate air dryer that is currently on the truck - Arnott Compressor Link

The OEM GM compressor is 282.92 from GM Parts Direct. Looks like it comes with the compressor AND the new air dryer but not certain.

Any comments, recommendations, suggestions regarding this?

I have had good luck with the Arnott rear shocks and would not hesitate to buy the compressor from them if mine went bad. I wasn't aware that the GM one came with the new dryer?

The rear on your truck is likely lower then b/c the autoride is not pumping up the shocks - I imagine you'll have a slightly different stance once you get the compressor replaced.

Let me know what you ground-to-fender measurements are when you get the chance.

Yeah, could just be my ignorance regarding the dryer on the OEM unit. I just ordered the Arnott compressor as it seems solid. I won't be able to work on it until Friday at the earliest however.

I'm guessing the rear will come up some so planning on shortening the links if so... regardless, I'll keep you guys posted.

Let me know how the compressor install goes. FYI, on my Burbn with the same kit installed (and spacer in), my rear measured 34 7/8" with the links set at 3". When I shortened the Belltech links as short as possible, the rear ended up settling at 34 1/2". The front measures 33 7/8".

Let me know what yours are once the compressor is working.

Will do.

I ordered the compressor from Arnott and went ahead and ordered a new dryer from Suncore so everything will be new. Have to haul some mulch bags this weekend so have to get it done before that... Or wait, that could be my excuse to get out of mulching!
