if it makes u feel better, my "in town" driving at work has been netting me about 6mpg consistantly. :) it drops once in a while, mainly for sustained speeds above 140 but those are far and few between hahaha

02 6.0 When driven with a little bit of a lead foot it is showing me 12.2MPG in the city. Then I started driving like grandma it went up to 14.6 in the city. Haven't done any real highway testing just yet. It looks like the computer is calculating your MPG even when you are stopped at a light and burning fuel. This means if you run into traffic alot, your MPG will be far less then that of others.

I've got an 04 Tahoe 4WD with the following:

BullyDog GT Tuner
AFE Stage 2 intake
Trans Dapt TB spacer
Electric Fan conversion
Magnaflow catback
111,000 miles

I average 16mpg. No granny drivin.
