So i just got 20's on my tahoe with 275/55 tires after getting all new suspension, main belt, idle pulley and belt tensioner. It was driving great and no issues with stocks. As soon i put rims on, a noise started under the hood. Sounds like another pulley. Not sure though. Its weird 'cause the harder i press on gas the louder it gets. Its like a whistle. But going after 45mph it kind of stops a little.. it does stop making the sound when i press brake though. Any suggestions. Anybody?

Maybe check air intake and make sure there are no air leaks after they put it back on? That would cause a whistle. If you can switch back to stock wheels and test drive and it goes away check to see if the new ones are rubbing or touching somewhere.

Tires do rub when i turn all the way to left only. Not to the right. Everything drives great. Just the squealing noice it makes. The more i step on the gas the louder it gets. But thanks. I will try to put stocks back on and test drive it to see if it stops the noise. But, if it does stop the noise, what could possibly be the reason for the squealing noise? Does having rims affect the pressure on the pulleys?

No...it its affected by the different wheels it would be the wheels themselves rubbing on something, like a brake like or something strange like that. I doubt its the wheels and was probably coincidence.

If its a coincidence, i really think it must be a BIG coincidence because i just replaced idle pulley, belt tensioner because the same reason (the squealing noise) and right afterwards i put the rims on because i felt sure the truck was ready. As soon as i take it for a test drive with the rims, i start hearing the squealing noise...

Check to see if the belt is on all the pulleys correctly, if it is maybe the belt needs replaced or one of your new pulleys is bad out of the box. Take the belt off and spin everything by hand too.

any changes with the AC turned on/off? there is a separate tensioner and belt for the AC that could be making noise under load....? do you have a bug deflector installed on said vehicle? with the engine running, can you safely spray a lube onto your alternator pulley?
just a few ideas... good luck man

@rAiN_Twist i wished i had a supercharger it would be awesome. @mizzouguy yes thats what i did. I took off belt and checked all pulleys. I noticed my new belt was getting a bit worn out on one side. The pulley in front of power steering pump wasnt aligned with the rest of the pulleys. You need a special tool to tighten it down. So took it to the shop and truck is driving nice and smooth. Thanks for your suggestions. @FamilyTruckster thanks for the advise man. As i mentioned, it was just a pulley that needed to be a bit more tighten it down.
