So I got rid of my antena and ran a length of 10ga. wire up to the top of the door inside the weatherstirping. When the door is closed my reception is like it was with my antena. However when my door is open my reception is 100x better, i get almsot everystation. Does anybody have any ideas? i thought it might be less cause of the metal on the door but even when i just lay it on top of the stipping same thing.

You could try to run a longer wire...only thing that could make a difference I think...

Yea i got the idea from there and same thing untill i truned on my HIDs and then reception when the crap. I took my wire and ran it under the cowl and up the drivers door and it seemed to help alot though.
