Any ABS issues when you change rim size?

i went from factory 17s to 22s. And the guy at NTB gave me a lecture about it messing up my ABS. And destroying my MPG. Any of this true?

The abs sensor is built into the hub /bearing assembly, it does not care, or even know, what wheels you have on there.

I just went from my stock denali 17s to 2007+ denali 20s and nothing has affected my abs either. I haven't seen any major change in my MPGs. Maybe 1 mile but nothing beyond that. Although I haven't driven at highway speeds on them yet as I've just been around town since.
