Any concern with buying this first year redesign of the Yukon?

Had my 2021 Z71 for almost a month now. No issues noted to date! Loving it so far. The ride is so much better with the independent suspension, even with my 22's and 33.5" Ridge Grapplers. Hope it stays that way. Fingers crossed!

Sure would like to see some updated pics when you can.

Eric, If you're accustomed to Toyota quality, you will be sorely disappointed. (Especially in first model year GM vehicles) Of all the many cars/trucks I've owned, first MY GM's have disappointed me. The worst was an '07 Escalade. Great looking in and out, great power and handling for a big rig, but a nightmare of problems. I have two '16 GX460's. Both have over 50k miles and both run, feel and look like brand new. I still have a '10 Tahoe LTZ that's been great and is used by my son.

From what I've read on this forum, the GM2kXX trucks have seemingly had an endless myriad of confounding problems. The infotainment and bells and whistles on the new GM T1 are very cool, but...

As far as the LC's go, there's a reason that the predominant safari vehicle has become an LC and an exodus from Land/Range Rovers... that's because the darn things seemingly run forever.

I guess when you keep making the same thing for 15 years without updating technology or efficiency, it’s easier to work out the bugs. But do you want to own a vehicle that was mostly engineered over 15 years ago? The gas mileage on Toyota V8’s is downright embarrassing, LC and Sequoia.

And look inside one of those Toyotas, it looks like you travelled back to 1995. Hard plastic everywhere, tiny info screens, safety systems that are an afterthought bolt on as opposed to engineered through the design (due to old designs being retrofitted).

No worries from me. GM for the most part backs their products and with todays high tech design methods I am confident all will be well. Having said that i will be buying an extended warranty before the standard 3/36 runs out. Better to be safe than sorry :)

That is the only time I recommend an extended warranty,if you must, after the initial bumper to bumper warranty runs out. Otherwise, I consider that an "instead of warranty".

I would consider the age of Toyota design as a plus, actually. I would trade in my Tahoe for a Sequoia or LC in a heartbeat, but the Tahoe is paid for.

Does anyone know what's the difference between buying an extended factory warranty ( Additional 2 years bumper to bumper warranty..) and buying the GM extended protection plan? which is a better deal?
Can you negotiate the price of these plans or buy from another dealer than purchasing from?
