I can confirm that 5300. My 2WD 2004 Tahoe weighs 5307 lbs while carrying me, two empty child seats in the middle row, and some assorted things in the glove box and center console.

As far as the weight distribution, I have no idea, but I want to find out. I'm looking for someone in San Antonio that can weigh each corner of my Tahoe at the same time, then I'll know for sure.

I want to yank my rear seat, hitch, and a few other things, see if I can get it under 5K. If I can hit mid 12's. I'll be happy.

I believe it says that they are designed for the OEM lca, and that he hasn't tried to see if they will fit or not. Can you lay an OEM lca next to a DJM and see if the mounting area is the same. It might help to answer your question. Someone else asked it too.

I know I will end up with a set of these brackets soon. I'm planing a full front suspension rebuild, and I already have all the parts, so whats a little more work.

The lower mounts only work with the factory LCA. They use the fact that it is dropped from the mount to stop the coilover end from pivoting. I think the DJM lower arm is flat so obviously this wont work. However I *think* the DJM arm has a female bracket for the shock already on there, so in theory you could just bolt up some coilovers, but I have no idea and make no claims about the strength of the shock mount on the DJM arms.

Ok thanks. I figured that would be the case. I would compare my stock ones but I gave them away bc I never thought I would need thrm again. Wasn't a very good move bc now I need them to get my nice ride back
The ride with the djm isnt horrible, but if you get on anything other than brand new asphalt it gets pretty bumpy. Ive been looking into some good shocks and the qa1 adjustables look to be about the best, but now this comes about and im thinking it might be worth getting the stock arms back to do the coilovers

Hey guys I dropped the price on the brackets today; $20 off for the upper/lowers so they are now $180/$180 and the full kit is $35 off so its now $315. Let me know if anyone wants some!

I need to put it down for the record that I WANT SOME...but I don't have the funds right now. :-(

I plan on picking some up from you later in 2014 depending upon how my budget goes. Once you run out of the parts from this batch will you be making more?

Ive been reading this guys thread on pt.net and I think if I were able to reinforce the mount on the djm lca, I could follow in his steps and use the stud mount up top to keep the most usable travel and not need to go back to stock arms

Im still definitely interested in these, I just need to get a plan together for what all I need. Im hoping to do this whole suspension makeover in one long wknd
