Billy, you could always buy just the lowers now while they are on sale ;)

The bottom bracket more or less keeps it inline with the stock shock. The upper mount doesnt really move it side to side at all.

I cant comment on the drop spindles since ive never had them, but there was some conversation about it on the first page?

Oh, I guess I havent posted the info over here yet, my bad. I am having a sale on the brackets until December 31. Full sets are $20 off and upper/lower sets only are $30 off, so $170 for just uppers or just lowers with hardware, and full sets are $330 with hardware. After the sale the price goes back to where it was before, $200 for just uppers or just lowers, and $350 for a full set. Price includes shipping, powdercoating, and hardware.

atomic, where are you sourcing the hyperco springs? it seems a Tahoe would need either a higher than 1300lb spring or 7" spring since you are running a 6" on a single cab. I liked the look of yours with the stud top mount so maybe a ds303 QA1? I'm need to know if there are higher spring rates.

I know guys have purchase them, not sure if they have installed them. They are holding up great, I have roughly 1200miles on them and zero problems.

Possibly...if the frame is the same as the gmt800 trucks in that area and has torsion bars. Do you have a picture of the LCA and upper shock hoop area?

I got them from ebay actually buy searching hypercos catalog for a part number. The 6" spring I had was 1000 lb, I later switched to a 7" 1200lb spring which I current have. The weight of my truck has about 1475lb over each front tire and 1000 or so over the back tires. This shouldnt be too different from the Tahoes on the front tire, so I imagine they would need a similar spring. Hyperco lists up to a 1300lb spring in that size, but other manufacturers may make more.

In case any of your are interested, or know the answer to my question, I posted this thread about the 2007+ spring rate:

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=717692

My idea is that if we can figure out the spring rate of their coilover setup then that may be a good starting point for springs for our trucks. I think the gross weight of the new and old Tahoes should be close enough for something like this.

Sorry I can't help you with the numbers but I do remember that the Silverado 1500 2007 up has it and 4wd easier I think

I would suggest you check with after market developers and by the way if I am not wrong the Ford Expedition has the same setup front and rear..

Another question I have in mind why dont we use slimmer torsion bars luke for example from the Ford Ranger 98 I remember it was smooth and strong

Last question: I found out today that my front left wheel travel more or how can I say when I hit the bumps on the road the left is smother!
Can you help with that?
