Any module out there yet to turn the FOG LIGHTS auto-on with the headlights?

No problem, sorry for sounding exasperated.

I used some 20gauge or 22 gauge soldered to the diodes as it is easy to flatten and tin it flat, then fit in in with the relay, as compared to the round and thick diode legs.

Eagle et al -- I have not gone out to look at what you guys are discussing. Given that, and my complete lack of electrical knowledge, is what you're proposing just a matter of running some wires separately? Or, is there any harness work involved? And is there any additional load (heat?) generated on anything with this method such that something could eventually overheat/melt/cause problems down the road?

nah, what in essence you are doing is adding an additional "on" for the relay. IT still handles the high current.

A Diode is the electrical equivalent to a one way check valve.

You use a diode so when you turn on the FOGs it doesn;t also turn on what ever you are using as a trigger, the highbeams/lowbeams/DRL etc.

mine's only an 03 but the concept is the same. I wouldn;t shove the diodes into the fuse box, it is jsut too easy to solder a couple of wires

SW CT,
Yup no harness work just using the diode to trigger the relay so no high current, no heat, nada...I was running this but now that I have hid fogs I took it out...if I can dig it up I will put it in and take a pic for reference.

maybe you have the diode turned the wrong way, flip it around and try the other way...it does make a difference

here's a diagram i did up for a buddy once...it's to make the fogs and drl's come on with the lows, but you can do it for the hi beams or however you want...just connect the #35 terminals...

Yea, I tried flipping it around? If I had the diode turned around when I turn the fogs on the head lights woul come on and that didn't happen. Here's what I don't get there is 4 terminals and I got my test light out to check for power on them. The way I think it should work is one terminal should have power all the time and there should be another terminal with power only when the light/fog switch it on. This would be the terminal that actuates the relay to turn the lights on. Well I’m getting power on two of the 4 terminals with the switch on the dash is off?

I have been out of the tahoe game for a while, but I seem to recall on my '02 that all I had to do was ground a green (?) wire under the dash and the fogs were on with the low beams. They would go off when the high beams were turned on IIRC.
