Anybody know what these are?

Found both of these next to the fuse box the relay and the connector. Are they normal or was something added or rigged!?any help is appreciated.

What about the cable or hose laying across the brake lines? That’s does not look original. Going to chafe like that probably.

The hot and trailer brake wires for the rear 7 pin trailer connector. Both are left coiled and taped.

That’s a ground cable I ran from the firewall to the alternator bracket it is too long. I need to trim it and crimp another connector on to it

I had a couple loose near my fuse box I used for my 7 prong trailer plug. GM put them there for this purpose.

The hot and trailer brake wires for the rear 7 pin trailer connector. Both are left coiled and taped.

No need to connect them if you don't run a brake controller, or need AUX power to a trailer. if you do connect them, you'll likely need to add the appropriate fuses in the fusebox, that's if you want them to work.

Good to know! I’m not a fan of things like that cause you never know what might of been done to the wireing of the truck
