Anyone dip?

So I'm seriously considering plasti-dipping the tahoe. Anyone done this yet? It's relatively cheap at about $500 for the whole kit. Just have to decide what color to do.

I've done the front end on my Nissan pickup. Holding up well so far. Just have you lay it on thick so it isn't easily beat up by rocks and debris. It'll start peeling if it gets cut/chipped

most of the stuff that i wanted black on my truck is plasti-dipped. it's pretty cool stuff. I haven't tackled a whole car though although i would love to try it. get your camera ready and do it up! i want to see!

I'm following dipyourcar.com. They have a youtube channel. Very informative stuff. They sell everything needed to do it. I'm 50/50 right now on pulling the trigger. I may wait until after winter though. It's getting cold outside.

Ive seen it. Yea it looks ok but im pretty sure if yer gonna use it to hide like non painted areas then its gonna show ontop and look ugly aslo

ive dipped my bumpers, whole front grille, handles...and many more things. i love the product on dipyourcar.com and their youtube channel. i havent dont the whole tahoe, but some vids show it comming out great. let us know what u end up doing

As soon as I'm ready my buddies going to dip some of my interior. He has a whole setup - does all his guns.

I'm waiting to hear back from the website about the temperature ranges for application. If they say it's good to go, then this will be my late fall/early winter project.
