Isn't it funny some of the jalopies some of us drive?? There are some extremely nice rides on this forum and here you hear about all these old land yachts or rice burners being driven around while the Hoes and Kons stay parked in the garage

I may end up landing my grandma's 91 caprice (with 44k miles on it) to beat around in before long.....

well this is my beater 1997 cougar 154504 miles on it and it runs like a champ dont drive the yukon just some on weekends

My daily 98 civic ex. Was the wifes car originally had it since 02. Just change the oil n roll. It's got 158k and gets 32+ mpg.

I have a '98 VW Diesel Beetle. 45-50 Mpg. Use it for daily 100 mile round trip to work. Even with the Beetle, I still put on almost 20k a year on the burb.

My beater is a 91 Buick Skylark Roadster with a cloth top and blue velor interior. She aint pretty, burns a little oil. But she gets me from point A to B and back again. 65 miles round trip a day. I paid $1k 2 years ago for it with only 25k miles on it. It sat for years and I get almost 30MPG out of her....

The Yukon is sleeping at home.
