I have installed 2 different style vent shades on my doors in the last 12 years. They slowly peal off from the back and start flapping. I understand its the 3m tape causing the issue but have you had a specific set that has not done this? Maybe yours are a more arrow dinamic style preventing this issue. I dont know the name brands i have used but maybe they were generic.
