I was thinking about just building my own out of sections of pre bent aluminum pipe and ruber conectors and modifing the stock filter box to accept the tubing but I saw that Volant makes a full kit with closed box and pulls from the fender.
Anyone have one?
Is it worth the price?
More power? More sound?

Well I like the design more then open box setups so let me know what you think of the quality, fitment, durability, and was it worth the cost to you?

quality was pretty nice. I like the filters better then K&N crap.
Fitment on the TB was good, kinda hard to work it in place but again the TBI is different and im sure you wont have that problem.
Worth the money at 100 bucks brand new instead of the 300bucks they charge.. YES haha

The guy on here Volant1 works for volant so be sure to get in touch with him if you want a coupon and nice service. He helped me out on a filter and such.

Power and sound.. power i picked up a little but i liked my older setup better for the "power" aspect.. Sound increased. Makes more a CAI sound i guess you can say. lol i love the closed in concept of the filter as well

ive got one. but i have a TBI. not sure if i should continue with the review or stop :) lol let me know

lol. I read about yours.

I know i have the NBS one, but design is the same. I just put it in last weekend and love it. Throttle feels better. Mine has the scoop also. I like the closed in setup. , but i really like it, less hot air from the engine. especially w/ the scoop getting air from outside. Install was fairly easy for me.

(not sure if this helps, but worth a shot.)

And for Volant1, yes he is a great guy, helped me out and ive never had customer service as he gave me. I will surely buy from him again. Hes very helpful
