Jmat,

Refueling issues relating to the pump shutting off prior to completely fill the tank is an industry wide issue due to a variation in OPW 11B fuel nozzles throughout the fuel station industry.

Until the fuel station industry can replace these nozzles with improved versions, I encourage you to try another fuel station.

Please keep me posted.

Thanks for your input Louis. Initially I thought it may be an issue with the pumps at the particular gas station I was using. Have tried several others since this started happening with the same result. Additionally I've fueled my other vehicle at the above mentioned gas stations without incident. Thanks again.

Wow! Seriously Louis? Let's be straight up here and point out the TSBs GM had for crappy solenoids and EVAP CVSs. I've installed the redesigned part on my truck already. You guys know there is a problem and you just proved why GM customer service sucks. Anybody who is looking for credible info should click on the link in the second post of this thread. You will fine info on all the parts and TSBs concerning this problem.

When is GM going to replace all the cracked dashes on the NNBS trucks? I'm still waiting.

Louis, I beg to differ. I've been with friends in at LEAST 50 different cars not made by GM and NONE of them have this problem... new and old. Different stations new and old. However we have 3 07+ Tahoes/Yukons in our family and they ALL have this problem no matter where we fill.

NHTSA TSB link

There also is TSB 09-06-04-028B but too lazy to link it.

My 07 keeps shutting off now too, just started about 2 months ago. Total pain in the ars!
Its popping off around half a tank so the 75 limit at the station has nothing to do with it.

I have experienced exactly this above. I have issues filling up at the 7-11 near my house. The pump literally shuts off atleast 5 times before I can get $1 worth of gas. I am not sure what type of gas they sell. I also fill up at Murphy USA, QT, Race Trac, and Exxon and never have this issue. I only have this issue at the 7-11. :emotions122:

The dashboards only crack when you park the trucks under "certain" sunlight. Park in a different spot.

I have this problem as well as my check engine light going on with a steady light. I then remove the gas cap and then put it back on and the light will go off after starting the engine a few times.
Any suggestions on exactly what may need to be fixed/replaced?

If you've tried all the usual recommendations and still have the same problem, please see the attached PDF. My charcoal canister was compromised and leaked, this is how I fixed everything.
