Yeah you may Nfamous, bend behind your truck and look under near the rear tires:
1. If your shocks are blue/black you DON'T have Autoride, rather regular suspension.
2. If your shocks are orange/black you DO have Autoride!

For what it matters when I installed the Pedders rear springs I pulled the isolators.....

Nna -- I haven't gotten my truck onto a lift yet, and so I haven't really seen the suspension components yet. When you said you pulled the isolators, are you talking about a rubber(-like) spring "spacer" atop the spring? If so, how thick are they? And by pulling it, can you expect that the truck will drop the amount of the spring spacer?

I don't think I want to lower the front of the truck, and so I'm also kind of weary of putting springs in the rear if it drops the rear too much (or the ride gets bad). If I could get @ 1" drop out of the rear by pulling the spring isolator, then maybe I could just do that.

Thoughts?

There should be isolators both above and below the rear springs.

Ah, ok... So, how thick are they? And should the truck drop the height of the [removed] spacers? Thanks!

They are not that thick, on the outer edges they are about 1/3 of an inch or so each. Mine had impressions where the springs seat so I'd assume due to the compression under the vehicle's weight while installed they actually account for less then 2/3 of an inch per side... and removal of them may only result in a slightly lower stance. Who knows... this may be a better option than purchasing a different set of springs. And the idea sounds more and more appealing as each day passes!

Iwaslowr is right with what he's talking about, but KMelony lowering 1" in the rear will probably be close to unnoticable.
I would say either buy a drop spring or cut your stock rear coils shorter, not many people like cutting because it messes up the way the spring rides but thats your best bet.
PS. DJM (2"), Ground Force (2.5") and McGaughys(2") all make rear coil kits to level the rear witht the front.
I suggest the GF kit as in amount of drop wise and the DJM/McGaughys kit for economic wise drops!

Plus Iwaslowr don't you have the Belltech Pro Kit?
I do know the oem Isolators are not suppose to go back in with the kit because they come with new 1" coil spacers in case you want to heighten a bit later?

Actually, Bell Tech says to keep the isolators in place... and the spacer is to be used if you only want 3 inches of drop instead of 4 inches:

Oh ok I got you Iwaslsowr. I though Belltech would engineer the coil in a way that the isolator would serve as what its suppose too and a spacer.
