I have a Flowmaster 10 series in California and absolutely love it. Actually may end up getting a black widow muffler though.
how do you pass biyearly smog? thats suposted to be a track muffler

They banned it because of noise just like you cant legally get a train horn in california on a non emergency vehicle.The muffler does nothing for emissions. I just smogged the Tahoe last week with zero issues.
they dont ban for the emissions they banned because it was too loud for street.Im not familiar with California inspection and emissions but a muffler doesn't really do anything for smog its only real purpose is toning the sound of the exhaust to bearable level. Like here in pa even in counties that require emissions sniffer test just as long as the vehicle has A muffler its fine. So technically you can run dual pipes with cats with whatever is classified as a muffler even hearthrobs exhaust tips as they are designed like a glasspack muffler.
