anyone have it done or know how it is done? i have read that it is just plug and play but what do you need to purchase in order to install it and how is it done?

I doubt it ell be plug and play, Cadillac hasnt made anything easy for us tahoe owners 
. But I think somebody is trying on this site, and you have to buy the spoiler and brake bar.

No, you do not have to buy the glass. This is only for 2000-2006 models. And no it is not hard.
You just need to buy the Cadillac spoiler, 3rd brake LED strip and the bolts. Mine is on the way. I got all the stuff for around $150.
All you have to do is open the liftglass, take out the 3 Torx screws and 2 10mm bolts, then the spoiler comes off. You put your new Cadillac spoiler on, with the LED bar installed, and plug up the harness and re-install the screws/bolts.
The harness is plug-and-play.

Thanks for the 3rd brake light information. Can you post some pics once your done and can you let me know where you got the spoiler with 3rd brake for $150.00? I would like to do the same mod, but was reluctant for difficulty and cost, but it sounds pretty easy. Thank you

Lol, everyone calling me Sophomore reminded me - I need to change it to junior. Or something else, since I'm not a sophomore anymore.
