anyone install the escalade third brake light?

My tail lights are Eagle Eyes G4, they look amazing and sell for a lot less than Escalade tails. Best part is they are plug-and-play, meaning a 5-minute install (literally) unlike the Escalades. And they match the pillars above them, whereas the Escalade ones stick out a bit. But I do like Escalade tail lights too.

Also one other question - When you purchased the spoiler did it come painted? If not did you have it painted to match, and how much did that cost?

It came from GMPartsDirect.com unpainted. My dad has a body shop so they painted it for me, I'm not sure what the cost was because he always has GM Black in stock.

That's okay. I know some guys at a local body shop near me that would do it fairly cheap. I was just wondering what a piece that size is running these days to get it painted.

No problem. It's definitely a nice mod, it really changes the look of the back. And it looks really cool if you get matching LED tail lights.

I actually saw zachs tahoe and had to get the led combo he mentioned above. I love it. Btw I used my existing bolts from my tahoe to bolt on the esky third brake light. The dark blue one on eBay is the exact set up I got from that same seller. He has multiple exact set ups taken off fresh escalades brand new he puts up on ebay auctions all the time. then i got a local paint guy to paint it GM Summit White for 40$. I spent 150+15 ship so it was a total of $205 (well spent!). My only regret is it doesnt light up all the way across. On gmpartsdirect.com the housing itself after shipping is $210 (that's without the brake light!) so I couldn't pass up that eBay deal. If anyone with a tahoe is thinking about doing this, I would snag the drk blue one on eBay asap... It's a steal!
