Yes, 68/32' ish
It uses the traction control, send send power R-F and F-R, by the open differential, RPO, NR4
The Stabilitrak, diables the engine Tq managment and Autoride if so equipped, for instances where you need traction and power

The hard part is done
The conversion will only take, 2-3 hrs on the floor
Using used parts would be under $1000 or less
only drawback is manually have to shift to 4WD if needed

My justification, is 99.50734% 'on paved road' use

Yeah my driving is mostly on pavement too. Which is why I originally wanted the selectable transfer. I found a bunch of good write ups on this system, and maybe it's not as bad as I originally thought. I just didn't want gas mileage to suffer to bad. I do like the ability of 4LO as I load my sea-doo into the water in soft sand.

My biggest question was if it was sort of like the Auto 4WD feature. As in it only engaged the front diff when it called for the need. Which would be fine and kind of a nice feature when the wife drives it in the winter. But from what I have been reading it seems like it is more of a split ratio/all time.

It's full time 4wd with stabilitrac. No 2wd at all ever.
My '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee had full time 4wd, never even noticed it was there, except it drove great on wet roads.
