Has anyone modified the rear passenger side plastic cargo wall in the back of there truck, where the jack is stored, to make it easier to access/use the hidden storage space in there? I store a ton of stuff in that compartment (jumper cables, tow/ratchet straps, etc) but it's a real pain to get stuff in/out because it only comes with that small access door. It's a great place to store stuff just difficult to access.

I was wondering if anyone has modified or seen a modification that makes it easier to access/use that space more efficiently.

Most people end up doing audio modifications with that space. Just become a member of AAA and you don't have to carry most of that stuff around with you.

I tried to make a custom box this weekend for that space for my new sub and gave up due to angles and lack of space. What year do you have? Does it have the factory sub in there? If it does and you want to retain that there isnt really any more usable room in there.

That means the sub is up under the console. But yeah you could definitely dremel that out and build something in there. Passenger side is full of random stuff that i didnt get a good look at. I will post pics of what it looks like under there.

I have too wondered about adding storage there. Seems like a lot of wasted space to me. Hopefully someone has done it and is willing to post some pictures of how it turned out.

Do you think there is room for a full size car battery there?
