too bad they dont make a space saver

I just looked at AAA, it's $57 for the year they tow you 5 miles for free and will bring gas at the current rate, or for $87/yr they tow 100 miles for free and no charge for gas. Doesnt say anything about repairing a tire but sure seems like a good deal

that dont sound bad at all. but one thing, i know down here. Some crazy people will show up to help you. They arent exactly labeled as AAA folks. Just regular ole cars. Saying you called AAA.... maybe some of you have diff. experience w/ them... But for that price for gas or whatever, thats not bad..

Yep and a 2nd card for another $17 in a family members name. You are limted it seems to 4 tows per year per card and it doesnt have to be your car it can be billy bobs down the street. lol
the rv membership is surely the best deal, I'd call the 4 times for gas just to get my $$$ out of it :)

When my tranny blew on my show truck almost 10 years ago now, I was still I alittle over two hundred miles from home. I called AAA and they sent a flat bed and when I got to the 100 mile mark of towing I called actually before we got to that point and arranged for another tow truck to take me the rest of the way home. They just simply backed up to each other and rolled my truck from one to the other.

I took mine off and just set it on a mat in the cargo area. It doesn't move around at all because of its weight, and like you said the vehicle looks better without it on.

I've been a member at the $87/year rate for a several years now and definitely worth the price!! They have helped me numerous times over the years and saved me a ton of money in towing fees at the rate :waytogo:

Gotta say I'm definitely not a fan of that....
