As the title states... Looking to see if anyone has the stock 20" wheels either painted, powdered, or replica on a black tahoe.

I really would like to save money and not get another set of wheels, but for some reason I am worried that the actual design of the wheels will not look right in black.

heres a side shot if anyone has photoshop skills as well.

Thanks!

If anything sell your chrome ones and get polished ones then powder coat. Your chrome ones are rare and highly sought after and you can get top filler for em.

This....do NOT mess up your chrome LTZ 20's to do this. Pick up a set of polished ones. You can get them cheap especially if you get a set that is stained but free of curb rash. Since you're painting them anyway you won't care about the stains and can get them really cheap and sell your chrome set for $$$

I'd agree with the above. Out of curiosity, approxmatley how much would chrome 20" with less than 500 miles on the tires sell for? Only asking because I sold mine to my buddy in November for $1,000 and bought CK375s from Robbie. I know it was a good deal, but didn't really check the going rate.

IMO....a set of chrome LTZ 20's with tires and only 500 miles would be worth 1500 to 1800.

Great. That's about what I was figuring. He owes me a lot of beers....

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Definitely wouldn't ruin the chrome though.

BlackedouLT3, thanks for that pic, as I suspected, not my cup of tea. The spokes are too fat and too flat for the black look.

I am definitely not going to paint these wheels, but now that I know they are desirable wheels, I may have a chance to sell and pay for aftermarket wheels without going into my pockets too much

:waytogo: Take a look around the site and you'll get a good idea of what aftermarket black rims will look good on your ride. There are a few on TYF that definitely look GREAT on the NNBS. BlackedoutLT3 and Modded immediately come to mind to give you an idea.
