Anyone thought about putting a sunroof in there hoe/kon?

Im still kicking myself for not waiting to find a better deal on one that came with the sunroof....so i was thinking about getting a OEM sunroof set-up because its more factory and less likely to leak, has anyone done this or no places in the south that do good work?

or do yall think its a bad idea and i would be guaranteed leeks..

I dont think it should be that hard to do for a good shop. cut a hole, slap on the seal and mount it all up. I think you would need a new headliner. IIRC trucks without a sunroof have a flater headliner. Could be wrong on that part

I totally feel the same way about this fatnlowtahoe504 i smack myself all the time i see a tahoe with one, this was the only option i didn't get back in 05 when i bought it and the only reason why i didn't get one was cause they all came with factory DVD players and they opt the price way over board so i said **** it... Here in Cali i know this really good place sunroof performance (they make all the factory sunroofs for gm). where i could get mines installed for about 700 bucks cause i know the dude, im gonna get mines done by summer of 2010. It's gonna be a over-sized sunroof42X38 i believe with a new headliner

yea the year i was looking for 00-02 cus i liked the interior better, they only came in the SLT yukons and ofcourse the denali and esky, but the tahoe LTs didnt come with them in 00-02 and thats what i ended up with..i have every option but as well

really???? for some reason i thought they never did cus ive never seen a 00-02 with one and always see the slt yukons with one, put your vin number in that website and see how rare your truck is if you dont mind, im curious..

Mine came with an aftermarket sunroof but it's really good quality and haven't had any issues. The headliner is barely loose at the sides but I'm doing an alcantara liner so that isn't an issue, call around and do some research but the aftermarket roofs are sweet, I love mine.
