It’s not locked but you need the key fob to move console and access the drawer. You can modify it to lock but it’s pretty secure as is.

Appreciate your concern but I work for myself, pretty much retired so I’m not worried about image.

As far as pictures in internet I almost prefer to have it. I don’t think knowing someone is armed endangers that person, on the contrary it has benefits. Knowing someone is armed is maybe the best crime deterrent there is. Places where the citizens are legally armed is one of the safest places to be.

Kick the front door as hard as you can 2-3x then run. I was at risk for eating lead paint when I was younger, not sure what the poor kids are exposed to now but, man o man, kick the wrong door and

The OP has Denali with the sliding center console which is a great option.
The advantage is you can have some extra open storage and adjust the arm rest to your liking. I have 3 locations I change depending on use. My wife likes the open space for purse when she is in the truck. I also like the half way position which is perfect for wallet or smaller items that can be easily accessed.

As far as security, you need to start the car or turn on accessory power to move the console so it is pretty secure unless you leave the fob in the car. If someone breaks in the car with out the fob they can’t move the console. Without the fob you can break in and hotwire but that is a lot of work. You can also pry off the console with a crowbar but it would probably be easier just to steal the car.

Anyway that color combo and interior looks amazing!

I believe it is Ron. From what I’ve seen if you see the ridges in that opening it has a charger. I wonder why the Sierra is in a different place. Seems like they’d use the same parts across other GM rigs.
