UPDATED!! Pics at the bottom!

So I've been making some purchases and asking a lot of questions. Here's the result so far:

Also, I'd like to thank NorcalSS, Max, Allshocks.com/Turner Motorsports, Nortex and the people at RockAuto. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and very very helpful, even when I didn't know what I was talking about, lol. You may be able to see I have duplicates of a few things, rear drop springs (5" & TB 5.5") and drop keys (1st set currently on truck). Not sure what I'll use and what I won't use but whatever I don't use I'll accept offers. As you can see, everything is brand new.

I'm not 100% sure, I just assumed I wouldn't have to specify (yeah yeah, not thinking). I'll check it out tonight :Handshake:

It really depends on how low you go and what tools you have. I'm shooting for 4.5-5" total drop in front and 5-6" total drop in the rear. So far, I have ~$1300 in parts and I'm still missing some air assist springs for the rear. I'm installing it all myself so I had to rent some tools to do the free travel mod and I'll have to pay to get it aligned and have the alignment bushings pressed into the UCAs. I'm guessing I'll have ~$1700 into it when it's done. Hopefully I can recoup some of the costs by selling some of the parts I don't use and some of the parts off the truck so we'll see. A correct 2/3 can be done for as little as $300 and that's how I started a few years ago.

I can't even begin to guess what all this would cost if I had to pay someone to install it for me too.

It's not cheap, but if done properly, I should only have to do this once. After that it's just routine maintenance. Hope that answers your question.

Yeah buddy!!

Progress for the day = Lotta frustration and broken stuff. I couldn't break the spindles free and the hub bearings were in there damn good. Since I had planned to take the UCAs down to get the alignment bushings pressed in, I got pretty lazy and decided that they could press out everything for me, haha. I ended up just dropping the UCAs and LCAs, sliding out the torsion bars and removing it all as a single assembly. Sooo, truck is down for the day. I'll see what I can get done tomorrow.

It would be pretty cool to have another set of hands around but I'll manage. I'm in no rush so that definitely takes the edge off. As long as I finish by Fri, I'm happy.
