so my passenger side tail light harness is having issues... if it wiggles (like going over a speed bump, or driving on the highway through detroit) the connectors inside the harness lose contact, and the tail light does weird things, like what's documented in this thread: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/taillight-problems.71271/
i'd like to replace both ends of the harness, but i'm not inclined to spend the big bucks on a gm part. so, does anyone know if there is anything special about this harness? as in are there any diodes or resistors and anything like that inside the plastic housings, or are they just fancy weather-proof housings?
also, has anyone replaced one of these before? what method did you use to weather-proof the connector?
harness in question:
thanks in advance!
