Appocs 07 Hoe Build Thread

Once I get some good weather and good time off ill get a good pic of how it sits right now. I like the look of these wheels and Im thinking that in the future I want to powder coat the black with white or silver.

Also got my leveling kit in today and was hoping to work on that this Thur or Fri but its look like my schedule will not work out for me. I may have to wait till next weekend to get to the leveling kit installed.

Thought of a new mod as well.

-- Iv been doing some research into adding steering wheel audio controls and its looks to be a fairly simple and cheap mod so if I can find all parts I may be doing that some time soon.

I started on this fab job the other day, so far coming out pretty good and has only cost me 20$ in parts, total when said and done should be less than 100$. The cheapest grille I could find that was close to what I want was 350$, if this turns out even half as good as I think it will then I feel that it was money and time well spent.


1/8" thick 1" wide steal.




A little hammer and dremmal loving and this is where I am at now.








Going for this look on the grille, any thoughts/opinions?

I will most likely paint the mesh black with silver border. Also thinking of adding the bowtie and Tahoe emblems on one of the bottom corners and having those painted white or silver.

Got these bad boys for 375, now to order the brackets get them installed and wait for the seats to get here to throw em in.

Snapped a few pictures today with how the Hoe sits as is now. I have to wait a few days for leveling kit install, I decided to hang out with family this weekend.

Installed leveling kit today. Turned out pretty good and I'm satisfied. . . for now.

Yes it was and next year I'll look at going up in tire size but for now I'm good with this.
