trying to get an accurate gauge as to what it's worth. considering selling, but not very willingly.

1999 GMC Yukon SLT
Black Exterior, Tan Interior
215,*** Highway Miles
4x4
Fully Loaded - Leather Seats (Front are heated and power). Front and Rear Air Conditioning. Heated outside mirrors. Homelink garage door opener.

Good
Drivetrain is absolutely awesome. No leaks
Dunlop tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. Slightly oversized (265/75/16). All have great tread.
4 Brand New Monroe SensaTrac struts (500 miles)
Interior lighting (with the exception of 2 map lights) has been replaced with LED lighting.
Dashboard illumination replaced with LED illumination.
Sony Stereo with USB and aux connections
4 3-way Kenwood Speakers in the doors
Smoked front corner lights and smoked tail lights.
Headlight and turn signal lenses are brand new (not hazy and fogged up like most old body style GM trucks)
HID Low Beams (DDM Tuning 35watt, 4500k color temp - bright white)
Intake gasket gasket has been replaced. Dex-Cool has been flushed out and replaced with standard green coolant. Engine leaks no oil.
Service records indicate that the steering wheel position sensor, as well as sway bar links were replaced 8000 miles ago. Brakes replaced around that time as well.

Bad
Drivers side rear quarter panel was backed into in a Meijer parking lot. Made a dent but didn't break the paint. minor dent
Windshield was recently cracked. Beyond repair. Working on getting it replaced.
ABS System has been disengaged (fuse pulled). With the fuse in, the ABS engages during braking at low speeds. Very irritating. Previously covered by a dealer TSB, but previous owner didn't take it in under warranty. Otherwise, brakes were replaced prior to my purchasing the truck and are in good shape.
AC systems need recharging.

Small accident in 1/11, fully repaired at a GM dealer.

KBBs listing it at
Excellent $5,930
Good $5,480
Fair $4,755

Anything over 200,000 miles regardless of anything isn't going to bring in much. And since there's nothing truly special about your truck i don't think you would even get anything over 4.. IMO

Not trying to bring you down, but the dent if you needed to fix it would cost anywhere from 500 to 1000bucks to fix, windshield 300.. etc etc

Sounds like your ABS sensors are either bad or just dirty btw. you can clean them with brake cleaner, it might help em out.

with gas going up like it is you aren't going to bring much out of it. they seem to hold their value rather well here but its going to be hard to make much on a fullsize truck with gas almost to the $4 a gal mark.

i would have to agree 3000-3500, probably a little higher in the winter.

i might just as well hang on to it. it was an absolute champ during the last blizzard, when our malibu wouldn't even get down the street. my saving grace is that my wife works 3rd shift, so i'm able to drive her malibu to work to save on gas.

Keeping it is probably a good decision right now :waytogo:
