Sold my 97 back in 06 and still regret it, but I sold it to a friend so it doesn't sting as much. He still has it and loves it. Keeping the 99 no questions asked.

Seller. I'll run it up to a mileage I'm no longer comfortable with and list it on Craigslist for the price I paid.

It might take several months but someone eventually buys it. In the end I'm out my maintenance costs. This system has been working well. I've never had a car payment in my life.

The only vehicle of mine that doesn't have a price is the '77 but even then I'm sure if someone wanted it bad enough I'd unload it but I know I'd regret it later on. Either one of my burbs, though, can definitely go away for the right price. There's always more fish in the sea when someone has the right amount of cash in their hand.

I had to learn the hard way on my first car (65 galaxie) EVERYTHING is for sale for the right price! Had someone offer me crazy money on the galaxie when I first started driving it. He even had cash in hand. I said no because I had been working on it with my dad for the past 2 years. less than a week later the transmission linkage randomly broke and the car went down my moms driveway into a 4' deep concrete ditch!!!!:pp:

Keeper. I've had my 96 since 2000. I was 26 and it cost me 18500 back then. My first car I bought on my own. I always liked 2dr SUVs and was originally looking for a bronco when I saw this one and fell in love with it. I also have a '72 K5 that I'm slowly restoring. I remember being in awe when I drive it the first time. All the lights inside, the smooth ride. How I was shocked that it took all of $45 to fill it up. I quickly put a lift on it and bought some 285s along with a light bar and some off road lights. I'm currently bringing it back to life. Not that it's dead or anything I'm just fixing things that are long over due. She hasn't quite hit 100k miles yet. Since 2000 I've put about 60k miles on it.
